SLIC Property is a property investment, management and maintenance company providing high quality rental property in the private rental market in select locations across Scotland and England.

OUR PROPERTIES:

We have properties in Glasgow, Stirling and Milton Keynes, selected for their proximity to excellent employment opportunities or universities thus ensuring a large pool of prospective tenants for long and short term tenancies.

OUR TENANTS:

Our tenants are typically professionals, students, are pre-home-owners (i.e. renting prior to first house purchase). We provide a personalised response to all maintenance and management matters and are contactable round the clock by email, text or mobile phone, a service not usually available from Agents or Management Companies.

OUR RENTAL AGENTS:

At the beginning and end of all tenancies we leverage Rental Agents who will, on our behalf, perform all tenant search, marketing, reference checks, certification and tenancy agreements providing security and peace of mind to Landlord and Tenant alike. This ensures smooth transitions between tenancies with formal ensuring a professional and legally compliant start

OUR MAINTENANCE CONTRACTORS:

Over the years we have built a team of building maintenance contractors across all disciplines. We prefer to use family businesses and sole traders (i.e. those for whom reputation matters) and this means we get a reliable consistent service and quality of workmanship.

OUR INVESTMENT STRATEGY:

Our investment strategy is for the long term meaning that we are always willing to invest in the fabric of our properties and will never choose a short term fix in preference to a long term permanent resolution.

OUR HISTORY:

We are a family run business and have been investing in, developing and managing properties for over 25 years, inspired initially by the TV Programme “Property Ladder”.

In the early years, all development was undertaken personally however nowadays we take more of an oversight role, managing teams of professionals to ensure a high quality finish and a build quality designed to last.

Our early projects were in the South East before moving into the Scottish property market. We have undertaken a wide range of development projects including; demolition, Listed Building structural repairs and restoration, planning and listed building consent, extensions, antic conversions, splitting into multiple residences and of course full internal refurbishment and improvement. We aim to always improve and add value to our property portfolio in every development.
